Capturing Beloved memories

It was a hot summer day when I headed out to Manakin Sabot for these sweet newborn photos! Luckily, the house was cool and bright, and baby boy was perfect for his newborn portraits.

Baby boy arrived in late May and we met at their home for his newborn portraits at just seven days old. I assumed such a young baby would sleep the entire time, but in fact he was awake nearly the entire two hours I was there! He knew it was his showtime and he didn’t want to miss out, and honestly I love how alert he is in these portraits, already making eye contact!

Sweet Eliza’s newborn portraits were taken in the middle of the a big heat wave in Virginia this July. It was toasty outside, so I was glad to be in the cool A/C for newborn portraits.

It was a cold January day when I met up with the newly-minted family of four for little Emmett’s newborn portraits, but the burnt orange and beige color palette that mom picked out for the family’s outfits made it feel so warm!

I wrapped up summer 2021 with a sweet in-home newborn session. I met Morgan and AJ earlier in the summer to take some family portraits for Morgan’s parents!
