A: The Baby Plan is my exclusive membership for families welcoming babies. Book up to four sessions within 18 months and capture all the special milestones of that first year, from maternity, to newborn, sitting up and more!
Q: What is the baby plan?
A: Yes, I am happy to work with you on a custom payment plan that fits your budget. Families who book memberships or prepay their artwork collections at booking also receive a special discount.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: I am based out of Richmond and travel within one hour of the Richmond metro area is included. Outside of that range, travel rates will apply.
Q: How far do you travel?
A: Lifestyle newborn photos are natural and gently posed, capturing your new family in a comfortable and flattering setting, often in the comfort of your own home. These photos focus on the emotion and connection of your movements.
Q: What are lifestyle newborn photos?
A: I have a lovely collection of dresses that will flatter a postpartum body. For newborn photos, I always recommend a mid-length to long dress with sleeves as that is the most comfortable for moms. But if you would rather a different look, I am happy to connect you with a stylist to find the perfect ensemble!
Q: What should we wear?
A: Our schedule books up pretty early, so I would recommend getting on the calendar as soon a you are comfortable! I am usually booking out for newborns at least six months in advance.
Q: When should I book my newborn portraits?

Q: Do you pose the baby and use props?
A: I follow what is called baby-led posing on a white beanbag, with neutral blankets and wraps. I don't use props or baskets, other than classic bow swaddles, delicate bows and minimalistic Moses baskets. Baby-led means that I take advantage of the baby's natural sleeping positions to capture them in a position that is natural and comfortable for them.
Q: Can our pets be in the photos?
A: Of course! I love pets, and while I can't make any specific promises as to poses, I will do my darndest to make sure your fur babies are included in your newborn photos, always keeping baby's safety paramount.
Do you remember the days visiting your grandparents, pouring over albums upon albums of family photos? Your parents' lives spread out on the pages before you. Photos leading to stories, leading to long-forgotten memories, recalling details from days long ago.
I do. It was always my favorite pastime visiting my grandma, the family documentarian. Now the task has passed down to me, documenting the days as they go by, keeping the record for my nieces and nephews, for my own children to come.
Now think of your children, ten, twenty, fifty years from now. What will they have to look back on to remember a time they were too young to recall themselves.
