Baby boy arrived in late May and we met at their home for his newborn portraits at just seven days old. I assumed such a young baby would sleep the entire time, but in fact he was awake nearly the entire two hours I was there! Sweet Eliza’s newborn portraits were taken in the middle of the a big heat wave in Virginia this July. It was toasty outside, so I was glad to be in the cool A/C for newborn portraits.
