Prepare yourself for a sweet in-home newborn session! It was a cold January day when I met up with the newly-minted family of four for little Emmett’s newborn portraits, but the burnt orange and beige color palette that mom picked out for the family’s outfits made it feel so warm! They coordinated perfectly!

We started on the bed with big brother for some family photos. I always recommend starting with the older sibling before they lose attention in me! Big brother Carson was very attentive to his little brother.

Then big brother got a break so we could focus on Mom and Dad with baby! I love the the emotion that radiates from these portraits.

Brace yourself for the post kiss smile!!

It’s the little dimple for me!!

Grandma and Uncle were in town to help out with the new baby. I told them to hop in a few photos – generational portraits are a great gift for grandparents!!
