Spring was just around the corner when I met up with Emma and Woody for their early spring maternity portraits in Richmond at Historic Tuckahoe. The days were getting longer and some trees were already in bloom. It was a perfect evening!

Emma opted to wear a gorgeous Nothing Fits But dress from my client wardrobe. We had a met up a few weeks prior so she could try on several dresses from the wardrobe, and I was eager to see what she had decided to wear! I was so happy when she showed up in the white Yuki dress. It is so comfy for mamas, and photographs so well!

Tuckahoe is a fun venue because of the many location options it offers. We started in the garden, then moved over to the crepe myrtles, and ended in the field just as the sun was setting.

My medium format camera was broken at the time of their shoot, so I snapped some 35mm film images in between digital work. I just love how their portraits turned out. What beautiful spring maternity portraits. Take a look for yourself!
